I started out in the parts of tech nobody notices until they break — racking hardware, wiring up Oracle Exadata systems, and getting paged for Sev-1 storage escalations at 3am. That hands-on grounding in how infrastructure actually fails is still what shapes how I lead today.

Almost two decades later, I run global cloud operations for Zadara across APAC and SEMEA — a 24x7 command center that keeps multi-cloud infrastructure up at 99.98%. What's changed is the layer I'm automating: it used to be scripts and runbooks, now it's Infrastructure-as-Code, and increasingly, AI. I'm currently working through a Generative AI Engineering certification to bring that same automation discipline to incident resolution and CI/CD.

Outside the day job, I build my own tools under the Vimura brand — starting with a personal finance and portfolio platform I'm actively building with AI as a pair-programmer. I write about that process, and about infrastructure and AI more broadly, on the blog.
